Benefits of T5 Technology The retrofit solution provides optimal lighting quality with low energy consumption. The
Ecotube® is rated for 20,000 hours of life therefore the EcoTube lamps
are replaced less frequently, reducing the
maintenance costs and less material goes to landfill. Furthermore, T5 lamps use 40% less glass and have 80% less mercury
content than current fluorescent lamps. Less metal is used in the manufacturing of the lamps and less paper is used for packaging
the lamps. Operating a facility 24 hours per day and 7 days per week the estimated lamp life is
2.3 years.
